Jim served in the Army from 1974 to 1978 and was a Sgt/E-5 when discharged.  He joined the VFW in 2015, served as Junior Vice Commander, and Senior Vice Commander. Currently he is serving as a 3 Year Trustee.

 

He is an active member of the VFW Planning Committee where he provides valuable guidance regarding all financial endeavors. He is an active Honor Guard member participating in many local parades annually, and Memorial Funeral Honors. He has served several years as a Post Trustee.

Jim is married, has lived in Gaylord 17 years after living downstate in Macomb Township for 20 years. He has two grown daughters.
