After serving in the Army from 1969 to 1975, Randy was discharged as an E4.  He joined the VFW in 1989 as a life member. He has actively supported the VFW National Children’s Home, has served as a VFW Trustee and is now serving as Sargent at Arms.

 Randy has been married to his wife Joann for over 33 years, has four kids and 11 grandchildren. They have lived in Gaylord since 1962.
